Judicial Service Commission against judicial officers

  • Successfully represented the Judicial Service Commission against judicial officers who had been requested to retire in Public interest.
  • Successfully represented the CIC Assurance Limited against the NHIF at the Public Procurement Administrative Review Board (PPARB) in Request for Review seeking nullification of the tender award valued Ksh.800,000,000.00 for Provision of Group Life Cover and Last Expense for Civil Servants, National Police Service and Kenya Prisons Service for the Year 2017-2018. The Board set aside the decision of the Procuring entity awarding the tender to the bidder who was successful.
  • Successfully defended the Pharmacy and Poisons Board which was sued as Respondent judicial review proceedings instituted by, Nairobi Enterprises Limited,  for orders to quash the ruling by the Public Procurement Administrative and Review Board (“Board”) delivered on 31st May 2017 in PPRAB No. 45 of 2017 in which the Board upheld the decision by Kenya Medical Supplies Agency to Award tender in respect of the Supply of Pharmaceutical Product Amoxicillin Tablet 250mg (Dispersible, Scored)  at a total price of USD$ 1,740,000/-
  • Successfully represented Ecobank by the Chargee seeking leave to purchase a property worth 162,000,000.00 in Central Kitutu/Daraja Mbili charged to it as security for loan facilities advanced by the claimant to the respondent. The court allowed the Bank to proceed with the purchase of the property.
  • We successfully contested the Judgment of the High Court for the sum of Ksh. 37,000,000.00 against the National Oil Corporation of Kenya for a claim of malicious prosecution. The court of Appeal set aside the Judgment and Decree of the High court.
  • We represented the University of Eldoret in a suit by a former Senior Accounts Assistant for the University who was claiming compensation for wrongful termination to the tune of Ksh.10, 000,000.00 who was adjudged and dismissed by the University’s disciplinary committee for the misappropriation of public funds amounting to gross misconduct in the matter. The court dismissed the claim for damages as sought by the Claimant.
  • We successfully represented the Consolidated Bank in an application by a charger seeking an injunction to restrain the Bank from selling the charged property used to secure a loan amount of Ksh. 87,000,000.00 advanced by the Bank to the Applicant.
