Loice joined the firm as a pupil and was subsequently retained as an Associate at the firm and is currently working with the Real Estate and Finance department. She has keen interest in commercial, trade and investment law. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a legal researcher at Makadara Law Courts and Milimani Commercial Magistrate Court.


Loice holds an LL. B degree from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA) and a postgraduate diploma (PGD) from the Kenya school of Law.


Expertise
Loice has participated in complex transactions involving drafting and reviewing of various commercial agreements, wills and drafting legal opinions on tax planning for private investors in affordable housing projects.


She has also participated in a complex transaction involving a transfer of a property that was jointly owned through a power of attorney that was contested by the beneficiaries of one of the joint tenants.


She has equally represented Clients and given advisory on acquisition of real property, effecting corrections on title to land and Lease, mortgage borrowing and takeover of banking facilities.


Loice has worked and with the dispute resolution department where she was part of team that advised and represented a financial institution in a debt recovery of about Kshs. 1.6 billion. She also has extensive experience in employment and labour relations matters, debt recovery, land matters, constitutional litigation and criminal law matters.
