Joan Tracy Omalla is an Associate Advocate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group. She is an astute researcher who pays attention to the fine details of each case to craft solutions that are tailored to each client. Her practice focuses on Corporate and Commercial Law, Constitutional Law Litigation, debt recovery, employment and labour law, insurance claims, succession and trusts law, family and children law among other related areas.
Joan holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LL.B) (Honours) from the University of Nairobi and a postgraduate diploma from the Kenya School of Law.
Representation of Banks and financial institutions in debt recovery suits and other incidental proceedings
Representation of county governments, government agencies, independent commissions and parastatals in employment and labour-related matters, involving claims for unfair termination and/or wrongful dismissal
Dealing with insurance and negligence claims on behalf of leading local and multinational insurance corporations
Participating in challenging various constitutional petitions filed at the High Court and that proceeded to the Court of Appeal
