Kyalo is an Associate at the Firm currently working at the dispute resolution department. He has a keen interest in commercial law and dispute resolution. Kyalo previously worked at the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) where he gained vast experience and expertise in aviation and air safety.
Since joining the firm, Kyalo has participated in and made valiantly represented clients in high profile defamation cases, constitutional petitions on the Amendment of the Constitution, Public-Private Partnerships Petitions, anti-corruption and assets recovery proceedings and disputes involving county governments and other government agencies.
Kyalo holds an LL.B degree (First Class Honors) from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA) and a postgraduate diploma (PGD) from the Kenya school of Law.
Expertise
Kyalo has participated in complex litigation involving air operation, procurement, labour disputes and recovery of the Authority’s assets.
He was part of the team that facilitated the negotiations between Kenya and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for the direct flights between Kenya and New York.
Participated in the drafting of the 2018 Civil Aviation Regulations and took part in the International Civil Aviation Negotiations (ICAN), which took place in Nairobi in November 2018.
