Claire is the Business Development and Legal Admin. Manager at G&A Advocates LLP. She excels at creatively combining her legal expertise and administrative capabilities to create opportunities for business growth. Additionally, Claire, almost effortlessly devices ingenious approaches to ensure an amiable and collegial work environment for both the Eldoret and Nairobi offices. All this while supervising the Business Support Team. In essence, Claire is the operations’ head in the firm.
Claire is a lawyer, an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIArb) and a Master of Laws candidate in International Trade and Investment Law at the University of Nairobi.
She leverages on her legal and managerial skills and some highlights of her contribution to the Firm are:
Developing strategies that improve coordination and cross-selling between practice areas, confirming practice descriptions and team bios are persuasive and updated, providing networking ideas and training.
Developing a good understanding of clients’ companies, their industry, culture and environment to co-curate business development plans for each practice area.
Managing office operations and in particular; communication, IT, office equipment, ordering and inventory, facility management and security, meeting and event planning and establishing vendor relationships.
Maintaining knowledge of the entire Human Resource (HR) value chain which includes; employee attraction, engagement, development, retention, succession planning and separation.
Was part of a team that developed the Firm’s HR, Operations and Accounting policies, performance management process, and reward system.
Part of the team that developed and currently implementing the firm’s strategic plan 2021-2025.
