Amos holds a Bachelors Degree of Laws from Kabarak University School of Law having graduated in the year 2020. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law having completed the Advocates Training Program in April, 2022.
Areas of Practice
Amos is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya practicing with the firm and primarily based in the Dispute Resolution Department, Eldoret Office. He is well versed in several areas of the law including; civil litigation, probate and administration law, conveyancing, real estate and financial services, insurance law, employment and labour relation law, corporate, tax, commercial and intellectual law.
Experience
Amos is an innovative lawyer experienced with developing case strategies and writing persuasive briefs with over two (2) yearsâ experience in litigation. He has demonstrable working experience having collaborated with the team in handling several high profile cases including:
The 2022 Presidential Election Petition in the Supreme Court of Kenya in which he conducted legal research geared towards defending the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) and the Building Bridges Initiative Petition in the Supreme Court of Kenya where he provided research and technical assistance to the team.
Moreover, he has previously participated as a member of the team The Sirikwa Squattersâ Case litigated in the Court of Appeal, Kisumu where he provided legal advisory on the implications of the judgement and its jurisprudence on land ownership and conveyancing in Kenya.
